Changing the number of posts showing
How many posts do you show on your homepage? On most of my blogs, I show 10. I have enough posts that you could read those and still go at least 6 pages into the archive reading posts. My most active blog has almost 350 posts, so you could read that one for a long time.
This blog however, only shows 7 posts. I think that’s too many because I don’t have a lot of posts in my archives. You can only go back 3 full pages and part of another. I had it set up to display 5 posts but that wasn’t enough. If I had short posts, they wouldn’t even reach to the bottom of the page. I thought that looked tacky so I changed it.
I generally post once a day on this blog, so within the next week or two I’ll have 5 pages of posts. Then I’ll work my way up. But not at the risk of posting garbage posts.
