I have been playing with this stupid widget for the past 3 hours. It still isn’t showing up correctly on my site. It’s a pain in the ass and I’m tired of trying to get it to work. I’ll just delete the site the widget points to. If I can’t get it to work, I sure as hell don’t wanna send anybody else there.
I have a lot to say but I am unable to articulate my thoughts right now. I have a lot that I’m doing my best to deal with. I’ve been successful for the most part but I’ve also had my moments. Right now I am so tired I’m ready to just fall out and go to sleep. Maybe I’ll write more tomorrow.
These reality shows are getting ridiculous. They’re just giving anybody a reality show. Now it’s Snoop Dogg’s turn. I’m starting to hate some of this stuff as seen on tv. It’s really crazy. I’m a couch potato so I’ll catch bits and pieces of some of the shows when there’s nothing else on. These shows add nothing to the quality of tv. It just reinforces the boob-tube reference. I know for some of these people it’s their one shot at stardom. But I don’t know what the other people are thinking.
One of the reasons I’ve never lived with anybody is to avoid drama. I’m emailing a friend of mine now about some of the drama that he’s going through. He doesn’t want to be with his girlfriend anymore. He’s also looking for a job in another state. But he hadn’t told her yet.
Well, she found out and the proverbial shit hit the fan. Now she’s ready to kick him out (because he lives in her apartment) and she gave him a definite date. She never even saw it coming. She gave him the song and dance about how she’s a good catch (she’s really not) and he should want to be with her. Of course I’m on his side. He’s my friend, she’s not.
This just reinforced my notion that I don’t want to live with anybody. Things can get too messy.

2. I’m finally on track to graduate! It will be sometime next year. It just depends on what classes are offered and which semester I can take them. I’m super excited about this.
3. I need some new music. I was driving yesterday and the radio was getting on my nerves. It seems like after every other song they played commercials. I’ll start with 1 or 2 and gradually add on.
4. I’m considering getting this book 30 Secrets of the World’s Healthiest Cuisines to help with my diet/weight loss regiment. I would like to lose 15-20 pounds within the next 4 or 5 months.
5. I need to take my coat to the cleaners because it’s filthy. It’s a light colored coat so any dirt really shows up. I was going to put it off until closer to Christmas but it’s so dirty that I can’t wait.
Today is Black Friday. Traditionally it’s a slow day at work because a lot of people take off. Well, a lot of people were off today but we had a ton of work. I was busy all day. Every time I thought I was all caught up, I got more work. I don’t even know where some of that stuff was coming from.
I was glad when it was time to leave.
Are you kidding me?!?!?! I finally get a day off to sleep in and my stupid neighbors are up at 7am doing construction work. I don’t know what the heck they were doing down there but it sounded like the had some kind of Ingersoll Rand air tools or something. They were banging and making all kinds of noise. Now I wouldn’t have cared if it was late in the day but 7am? That’s ridiculous.
I mean really, have some consideration for others.
I hope everybody out there has a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving day. I’m not doing anything special. My family lives in another state and I have to work Friday. I just plan on sticking close to home.
I do have a full day of football planned though.
Everybody know that Black Friday is the best day for shopping during the holiday season. I have no seniority at my job so I couldn’t get the day off. I know stores like Best Buy and Walmart will be busy with people trying to buy projection televisions, camcorders, laptops and all of their other Christmas goodies.
The lack of seniority at my job really sucks. I would love to have first crack at having holidays off. Oh well, c’est la vie.
