GOD’S PROBLEM NOW…..
The graveside service had barely ended, when there was a tremendous burst of thunder accompanied by a huge distant lightning bolt, followed by more rumbling thunder.
The little old man looked at the pastor and calmly said,
“Well, she’s there.”
I wait until the last minute to do everything. I’m going to NJ tomorrow to visit my mom for Mother’s Day. I just did my hair last night and tonight I have to do laundry. Yes my clothes are still dirty. I don’t want to have to come home and do laundry for next week. I also just asked for Monday as a vacation day. My department is pretty laid back and if it’s open I can have the day. I’ve worked other places where they would not approve vacation if you didn’t request it 2 weeks in advance.
We’ve also put vacation planning on the back burner. I just realized that I have school one of the days that we’re supposed to be in Chicago which is a bummer. Now we’re looking at Hilton Head rentals, condos, and a few hotels but we haven’t decided on any one place yet. I really want to go on a cruise but that would be way too expensive this year. Maybe we’ll do that next year once I’m done with school.
Of course we would probably plan that at the last minute too.
I started to write dirty but that just sounds gross. I’m going home for the weekend and I won’t have any clean clothes for work on Monday. I won’t get home until 9 or 10 pm Sunday night so I won’t get a chance to wash clothes on Sunday.
I guess I had better do it tomorrow.
I just had to clear the cache of my computer again. This is the second time in the past week. I think the computer memory is running low. I know I had to delete a bunch of my emails because my inbox was full. We have to keep all emails for 90 days and I get at least 10 per day. That doesn’t count when there’s a problem and we email each other back and forth.
I’m not even scheduled to get another computer until next year. They only update computers every 24 months. I hope I don’t have a computer virus but I do hope they do something. This is annoying considering everything we do is computerized.
I know that I learned this in school, but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out exactly what Cinco De Mayo was celebrating.

But I’m being a lazy bum. I haven’t done anything all day. I showered but I threw on a t-shirt and some shorts because I’m not going out of the house. I have so much I need to get done too. I didn’t buy lunch for the week so I’ll need to do that tomorrow. I already had an extra lunch and breakfast in the freezer so it’s not a big deal that I don’t go today. I also need to fix my hair. That will take me 2 hours so I’m going to push that back until Tuesday or Wednesday.
Maybe I’ll wash clothes tomorrow but I doubt if I get anything done today.
It’s just a rainy Saturday afternoon so I decided to stay in and watch tv all day. There is nothing on at all though. It’s almost 1pm and I can’t even find a good baseball game. So you know what that means right? I have to get dressed and go out which means shopping.
I didn’t want to really spend any money this weekend since I’m going home next week. I can always go out and find something to buy. I saw the weirdest dress with ostrich feathers but no way would I be buying that. I could buy shoes, women always need more shoes. Of course I could finally buy that Coach purse that I want.
Who knows what I’ll do for the rest of the day. But just sitting in the house all day just ain’t getting it.

A redhead, a brunette, and a blonde robbed a supermarket. As they were stealing, a police officer walked in the store and saw what was happening. He dashed toward them, but they were able to get away into the back of the store. There they found three sacks to hide in. When the police officer checked there, he examined each sack.
He kicks the first bag, and the redhead says “meow” in a high voice. The cop determines that it must only be a cat in that bag, and he moves on to the next.
When he kicks the second bag, the brunette says “woof” in a low voice. The officer determines that it must only be a dog in that bag, so he moves on to the last bag.
He kicks the third bag, and the blonde shouts “potato” to the officer.
I’m glad the Economic Stimulus is coming. I have to buy my Mom a gift for Mother’s Day. I have several different things in mind. We both play the lottery instant scratch off tickets so I’ll get her some of those. I’ll mix and match them up in $1, $2 and maybe a $5 ticket.
For her gift I don’t want to give her money this year, so I’ll try to get her a real gift. I had thought about cell phone amplifiers but I don’t know if she would like that. I saw a really pretty wind chime type of thing that I think she will like. It’s more of a sun-catcher than a wind-chime. It’s burgundy and gold when light hits it. I told her to put up a hook in her backyard so she can hang it up. When she sits in the yard, it will be there for her to see.
Picking gifts for other people is really hard. I never know if I should get something useful or a knick-knack. I just hope she likes it.
