My Friday Five
Today my Friday five is all about sports:
- I can’t believe the Yankees didn’t make the playoffs. It’s the first time in 15 years that they didn’t even get to the first round. They have played horrible all year but I figured they would turn it around. No such luck this year.
- Hank Steinbrenner needs to shut up! Stop whining. Ok so a division leader in the National League has a worse record than you but they’re making the playoffs. Wah wah wah, you know the rules….win and you’re in.
- Ugh, I can’t believe we lost to the Eagles. Yuck! I’ve been working closely with some people on Philadelphia jobs and that’s all I’ve been hearing this week.
- I know we don’t play this week until Monday night but I still hope there are some good games on tv on Sunday. I don’t have anything planned and I don’t want to watch the House marathon this weekend. Even if it’s only one good game, I’ll be happy.
- I don’t know if I should root for the Mets or the Brewers. I hate both teams. Of course I want the Phillies to win the division. But I don’t know who to root for to win the wildcard. I guess the Mets although I don’t like them. I think my dislike for the Brewers is even stronger!
