Insane Random Ramblings

I’ve been getting a lot of spam lately. But what’s been really surprising is that I seem to get a of foreign spam. It’s Russian or a similar language. I can tell by the lettering that they use. Some of them leave long spam comments too, which is pretty funny.

I did notice that the majority of the comments come on my I mailed my bill late post. I don’t know if it’s a link somewhere or what. I guess it’s probably my first post that shows up in one of the directories that I signed up with.

Oh well, I hope they don’t think they’re comments are going to see the light of day. I send those suckers to the trash can so fast it would make your head spin. I would rather have no comments than a bunch of junk ones.

It didn’t take as long as I expected it to either. It only took about 1 1/2 hours to write. I was pretty surprised. Then again, I did wait until the last minute so it wasn’t like I had the luxury of taking a long time.

Now I’ll have to revise either this paper that I just did or the last paper that I did. Ill probably choose to revise the last paper. I think this one was much better and will be a little harder to change. The last one left off some major points and I didn’t devote enough time to one aspect of the paper at all.

I still have an additional 8-10 page paper that will be due in this class. I’ve had to do a lot of writing this semester. It’s almost over though.

Yep it’s back! Finally. This week my topic is: What I plan on doing this weekend.

1. I was planning on going shopping with my extra money. However, we’re not getting the bonus at all. No plus size sexy lingerie, UGG boots or anything else for me. Not this week anyway.
2. I need to re-wash my towels from the flood I had in the bathroom. Again. I’ll probably wash those things at least 2 more times before I use them again. If I use them again.
3. I need to write this paper that I’ve procrastinated on for the past 2 weeks. It’s crunch time so I need to get busy.
4. Flat iron my hair. My flat iron was on the floor during my bathroom flood so it may be damaged. I sure hope not because I don’t want to buy a new flat iron just yet.
5. Go food shopping and buy healthy snacks. I notice if I have snacks, I’ll eat the healthier option but if I don’t bring anything from home, I’ll buy donuts or cookies or other bad snacks from the store at work.

This psychiatrist walks into his waiting room and sees two men. One is hanging upside down from the ceiling. The other is sawing an imaginary piece of wood. The doctor approaches the man who is sawing and asks him what he is doing. ‘I’m sawing wood,’ the man replies.

Now what I wrote sounded reasonable right?!?!

Except the water exploded out and started spraying everywhere. It was like a crazy faucet shooting up towards the ceiling and then showering down. I started running around like a fool because I couldn’t get the valve off. After a minute or two (a that many inches of water on my floor), I went and got a pair of plyers. While they didn’t turn the valve off, they did make the valve easier to turn.

I’m down on the floor with water pouring all over me trying to turn this water off. I finally got it off and saw several inches of water on the floor. I went to the towel closet and grabbed every towel I owned except one, which was white, and threw them on the floor to soak up the water. I took me a hour and a half to soak up the water, wring out the towels and start over.

Then I had to wipe down the pebbles from the wall. We have these pebbled ceilings that was destroyed by the water. The pebbles were all over the wall and the floor. Which of course meant that they got into my clothes and my towels. After all of that, I took a shower and laid down at 3am - ish.

When the maintenance guy looked at my toilet, he told me the piece had completely rusted away so it was only a matter of time before it went. Luckily it happened when I was home because it could have been a disaster if it had happened while I was at work.

All’s well that ends well I guess. I am buying all new towels though.

Or welcome to the great flood in my apartment, whichever you prefer. All I can say is what a nightmare.

I got up to go to the bathroom at 1am and heard water running. I figured out that the source was my toilet tank. I looked down and water was starting to come out from the tank onto the floor. I lifted the tank up and saw that the float bulb wasn’t regulating right. I pushed it down to make it realize the tank was full but the water kept going. In my infinite wisdom, I decided to lift it up to stop the water. Sounds reasonable right?!?!

I volunteered for a special project at work. We did a great job and made the client extremely happy. For all of our hard work they gave us a bonus. There were 5 of us all together that are getting the money. It’s a small amount but I’m happy with that. I plan on getting a pair of UGG boots or a cute little pair of pumps. I’m leaning towards the pumps but I won’t make up my mind until the money is in my hand.

I think it’s due on our next paycheck which is fine by me!

Woohoo I am so happy. I called my blog host several times trying to get customer service to help me out. They kept insisting that I added something to my blog when I didn’t. I did delete something though. I’m not sure if that’s what caused my blog to go down or not. I ended up deactivating all of my plug-ins, totally deleting one plug-in and changing my theme.

Now I can get back to the business of talking about trying to find a cheap New York City hotel for my trip in May. It’s only tentatively scheduled though. I may be pursuing another income opportunity but I’m not sure though. I hope it works out, but if not it won’t be a big deal. I still have my day job!

This blog is driving me crazy. I keep getting 404 errors and I don’t know how to fix it. I can only access this blog from work where there is still a cookie on my computer. Everywhere else I get errors.

I hope to have this fixed pretty soon because I’m going crazy.

I wrote this post last week about the Chris and Rihanna. The story goes that Chris got a booty call which Rihanna intercepted and flipped out. Then they started arguing and she threw the keys out of the window. I guess he figured he might need to get new Ferrari parts or whatever kind of car it was. The whole situtation is just crazy.

I feel bad for Rihanna but at the same time I don’t. She’s only 21 yet she’s choosing to stay in a abusive relationship. It’s not like she needs him for economic support or feels like she has to stay because kids (although there is a rumor that she may be pregnant). It may sound mean but whatever she gets, she deserves.
