Thinking On Your Feet…

A wife and her husband were having a dinner party for some important guests. The wife was very excited about this and wanted everything to be perfect.

At the very last minute, she realized that she didn’t have any snails for the dinner party, so she asked her husband to run down to the beach with the bucket to gather some snails.

Very grudgingly he agreed.

He took the bucket, walked out the door, down the steps, and out to the beach. As he was collecting the snails, he noticed a beautiful woman strolling alongside the water just a little further down the beach. He kept thinking to himself, “Wouldn’t it be great if she would even just come down and talk to me?”

He went back to gathering the snails. All of a sudden he looked up, and the beautiful woman was standing right over him. They started talking and she invited him back to her place. They ended up spending the night together. At seven o’clock the next morning he woke up and exclaimed, “Oh no!!! My wife’s dinner party!!!”

He gathered all his clothes, put them on real fast, grabbed his bucket, and ran out the door. He ran down the beach all the way to his apartment. He ran up the stairs of his apartment. He was in such a hurry that when he got to the top of the stairs, he dropped the bucket of snails. There were snails all down the stairs.

The door opened just then, with a very angry wife standing in the door way wondering where he’s been all this time. He looked at the snails all down the steps, then he looked at her, then back at the snails and said,

“Come on guys, we’re almost there!!”

I was really glad to talk to my car cousin the other night. She’s doing really well and I’m extremely happy for her. This is her final year of school so she’s busy with the prom and her senior trip among other things. She also told me that she wants to come and visit me before she leaves for college. I need to start looking for travel deals once she gives me the exact dates that she wants to come visit. I told her that I don’t want her thingo plan anything for at least a week before she leaves for college. I want to make sure she has enough time to get all of her last minute things for school.

I can’t wait until she visits though. It’s gonna be a blast.

Hmm, this should be interesting. One of my cousins who is leaving for college wants me to mentor her. She will be the second person in the family to go to college but her major is pre-med so it’s much more stressful and expensive than my major.

I just hope she hasn’t already gotten a bunch of bogus advice.

I don’t really care what they do inside of their apartments. It just irritates me when they walk down the hallway smoking. The smell wafts into my apartment and it smells like there is someone smoking in here. I know that’s not happening because I live by myself and I don’t have any company over. Most of my friends don’t smoke either so that’s not something that I would really have to worry about.

It’s just really annoying when I’m sitting here trying to write diet pill reviews for this new product that I heard about and the smell of smoke invades my nostrils. I guess it could be worse. They could be smoking something else entirely.

Ugh it’s raining again! It’s been raining of and on for almost 5 days straight. Right now it’s pouring outside. It didn’t start raining until almost 4pm but once it started, it really started. It’s supposed to rain at for at least the next 4 days. The lowest chance of rain is Saturday with only a 40% to rain. Every other day is either 50 or 60%.

No wonder my cousin calls this city “the Seattle of the East”.

I just got off of the phone with a very good friend of mine. The things she told me totally surprised me. It was so unexpected but at the same time it made total sense.

Let’s just say that I’ve lost a lot of faith in my fellow man.

It’s one of the new writing assignments that I’ve given myself. I have a few criteria that I’ve established for myself. I have a specific word count and subject range that I want to use. I want to show people how to find the best acne treatment, how to find the best deals for vacation and on flights. There is a website that I’ll send them to that people use to search for information. I’ll help them out by providing information, and I’ll help myself by sticking to a writing schedule and practicing my writing skills.

I hope to have at least 3 done within the next week. They’re small articles so they shouldn’t take much time and I should be able to stick to my schedule.

I thought I got a C+ in my theory class. But when I logged in to see my grade, I found out that I had received a B-. I think they messed up my GPA though. I don’t think they took off the grade from the semester that I got a G grade. After one semester it automatically turns into a F. That grade should have been surpressed.

In any event it really doesn’t matter anymore. I’m so happy I passed this class I could do a dance.
