Insane Random Ramblings

I haven’t felt like exercising for the past few weeks. I’ve seriously slacked off of my exercise program recently. I used to exercise 5 or 6 days per week. Now I’m lucky if I get 3 days in. I also have a ton of junk food in the house that I need to eat or get rid of. I can’t even imagine throwing food away. I’ve been planning on going to weightlossstories.org to see what other people have been doing and what works for them. I do realize that not everything will work for everyone but I’m curious as to what’s out there.

I plan on losing some weight this year and I need all the help I can get.

I want to lose some weight. It’s very important that I do that this year. I did lose some weight last year but it wasn’t as much as I wanted to. I wanted to lose a whole pants size and that didn’t happen. Although I can tell by the way my clothes fit that I did lose a few pounds, it wasn’t from where I wanted it to come from.

So this year I’m determined to watch my snacks and increase my fresh fruit and vegetable intake. Last year I did eat a lot of salads for lunch but I slacked off near the end of the year. I’m going to pick that up and go look at the product line at http://www.phenterminedietpill.org to see what they have. I haven’t decided if I’m going to take a supplement yet or not or just try to do it on my own. I guess it will depend on how well I can do on my own.

I haven’t put a number on my goal but I have decided that I want one full size to come off. And I want the next lower size to have a little wiggle room. I don’t want to try to squeeze into the clothes, I want them to fit well. If I don’t meet any of my other resolutions this year, I will accomplish this goal.

I’m totally obsessed with eBay right now. Everything in my house that I can possibly sell is getting sold. I’ve already sold 7 things and I still have 3 things that I’m selling right now. 2 of those items will definitely sell but I’m not sure about the 3rd item. I’ll probably just relist that item and run it for a longer time frame. If I win a trip to Florida or anywhere else I’ll be sure to keep that. Otherwise everything else gets listed and sold, hopefully for a nice profit.

Now I just have to figure out what to do with the extra money that I’ll make.

They combined the job search site for both companies and the new one bites. The worse part is that you can only apply for 5 jobs in a 7 day period. I guess that’s fine if you’re happy where you’re at (which I’m not) or if you only want to apply for specific jobs (which I don’t). Now I have to closely monitor the jobs that I apply for so I don’t go over my limit.

I guess it’s a way to prevent the human resource staff from becoming overloaded. As long as I find a new job within the next 2 months I guess I won’t worry about it too much.

I’m already tired of Winter and it’s just gotten started. It’s snowed almost every day this month with the exception of yesterday and today. But that’s about to change because it’s supposed to snow again tonight and into tomorrow morning. We’re gonna get another 1″-2″. We’ve gotten at least a foot of snow since the middle of December. That’s why I’m contemplating cross country moving because I don’t want to deal with this weather. I’ve never liked Winter but the past couple years have been brutal.

I really need to amp up my savings so I can make the move to a warm climate. Until then all I can do is pray that Spring gets here quickly.

My maintenance man was on site because of all of the snow. He likes to keep our driveway and our walkway fairly clean. After he put salt down, he came up to my to fix some things that I needed done. I needed new ceramic tiles in the bathroom around the tub are because a couple of them had cracked. I also had him caulk around the tub since he was there. He looked at my ceiling and assured me that the crack is the pebbled decoration shifting and not a actual crack. He them gave me a estimate on how long it would take for him to clean my carpet.

When he finally left it was almost 11pm and he went out and turned on the snow blower. Then the apartment manager for the buildings next door started cleaning their snow. By the time they both finished it was close to 1am. I was so tired that I was dizzy and my eyes were glazed over. I think I only slept for about 2 solid hours before I had to get up for work.

I can’t wait to go home today and get some rest.

There are two statues in a park; one of a nude man and one of a nude woman... They had been facing each other across a pathway for a hundred years, when one day an angel comes down from the sky and, with a single gesture, brings the two to life.

The angel tells them, ‘As a reward for being so patient through a hundred blazing summers and dismal winters, you have been given life for thirty minutes to do what you’ve wished to do the most.’

He looks at her, she looks at him, and they go running behind the shrubbery.

The angel waits patiently as the bushes rustle and giggling ensues. After fifteen minutes, the two return, out of breath and laughing..

The angel tells them, ‘Um, you have fifteen minutes left, would you care to do it again?’ He asks her ‘Shall we?’ She eagerly replies, ‘Oh, yes, let’s!    But let’s change positions. This time, I’ll hold the pigeon down and you shit on its head.’

I just got paid two weeks ago and my next payday is tomorrow. It just seems like it’s taken forever to get here. I’ve been so broke since the end of November that it’s not even funny. I went to visit family and totally blew my budget not once but twice, now I’m paying for it. My budget won’t be back on track until at least mid-February. Next payday will be short because I took a unpaid day at the end of the year.

I may just go food shopping tonight. By the time the money comes out of my account, my paycheck will have posted. I don’t have any bagels for breakfast or fruit for lunch. I also need hair vitamins and laundry detergent. For some strange reason I also need new socks. I don’t know if the dryer is eating them or what but I can only find 2 pair of my work socks.

Tomorrow can’t get here fast enough. 

There are about 30 or so songs that I want to add to my mp3 player. Most of the music I was able to rip off of cds or I had the music on my old computer. Most of the new songs that I want, I don’t have at all. I even looked on all of these old mix tapes that I have and they’re not on there either.

Hopefully I’ll be able to find all of the songs that I want.

I guess I’m sad about that somewhat. To be honest I really wasn’t into football this year as much as I’ve been in the past few years. I was way more into baseball season than anything else. I’m especially getting antsy right now because we’re in the thick of Winter and I know it’s almost spring training time which means spring.

Oh well I guess I’ll have to pick a team to root for throughout the playoffs. Hopefully this time next year, the Steelers will be back in the playoffs where they belong.
