I missed out on a great house
I really don’t talk about wanting to buy a house that much on this blog but I’m definitely in the market. I just missed out on a great deal too. It was a small townhouse that was a foreclosure. It sold for just under 20% off of market value, talk about instant equity.
The house did need a little bit of work, but not much. A couple of the rooms needed new carpet and the kitchen floor needed a little work as well. But since I saw a laminate flooring sale I could have gotten the supplies for a decent price.
I haven’t been saving like I should so I’m definitely not ready to buy right now but this was definitely motivation to jump start my savings plan.
