Insane Random Ramblings

Big Ben is in trouble again. And it’s the same charge accusation, sexual assault. You would think that he would learn from the last time, right? I’m not even going to pass judgement on this case. There are some unknown variables right now. This is not as simple as when he had his motorcycle accident a few years back. He could get a good pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney, pay a fine and be on his way. This is a much more serious allegation and I have a feeling that he’ll be paying through the nose one way or another.

It’s like one step forward, two steps back with this guy. I wish he would put himself in better situations.

We have a new driver on our route for UPS. Actually my street is not on a route, it’s a pick-up route for whoever has time or is in the area. So we have a different driver every few months.

My newest driver is a early morning kind of guy. He tried to deliver a package at 10am and the slip said he would be back around the same time the next day. I’m at work in the morning so there’s no one around to sign for the package. If the building manager is around, he’ll sign for us but he’s generally busy so you can’t depend on that.

I called UPS and asked them to hold the package at the nearest center and I would pick it up after work. Of course it’s snowing like crazy and I hate driving in the snow. That package may just have to sit over there for a few days.

We’re supposed to get another 3″ of snow today and I have to go out in it. I need to mail something that could technically wait but it really shouldn’t. It’s a item that I sold on eBay. It’s not a big deal that I hurry and get it out but on the other hand the winner shouldn’t have to wait extra days because I don’t feel like walking to the post office. I’ll just suck it up and mail it today. If it were just a fast weight loss program brochure or something I would wait but it’s a coffeemaker so it’s something I’m sure the person will be using right away.

Hopefully the post office will be pretty empty and this will be a quick trip.

I’m always so tired when I have a extra day off. I do get to relax but I think sometimes I relax too much and I’m even more tired the next day.  I had to find the best night creams to soothe my tired face once I started relaxing. I know what the problem is that’s causing me so much grief. I’m tired and I mean really tired. I’m stressed out trying to find a new job because I need more money. I also haven’t had a real vacation in 3 years.

I need to decompress and soon. Maybe I’ll plan a weekend getaway or a trip to the spa or something. Anything to help me relax.

We’ve had so much snow for the past 10 days that I haven’t been out of the house except to go to work. I just about cleaned out my pantry and I have nothing in the house to drink. I try to at least keep a sports drink in the house because I tend to get dehydrated. I don’t need to buy any fat burner for men products but I do need some quick and easy to cook foods. Right now I don’t have anything that I can cook that will take less than an hour. That’s way too long for me. I don’t wanna spend 30 minutes cooking let alone double that amount of time.

I hope the weather cooperates long enough for me to get to the store and back.

We were expecting something like 8-10″ of snow. Instead we got over 21″. Yeah almost 2 feet of snow. Ughhh the city has pretty much been shut down since Friday. Most of the roads weren’t even plowed until late Sunday night. They only concentrated on the main roads. You could hardly get from the side streets to the main roads. And that’s not the worst of it either. We’re supposed to get another storm tomorrow into Wednesday which will give us another 6-8″.

This is one long Winter we’re having. Is it Spring yet?

It seems like it’s been snowing every day since Winter started. Actually since before Winter started because we got our first snow in early December. Now we’re in for a really big storm this weekend. Not as big as the storm the DC/VA and NJ/DE areas are going to get. They’re getting blizzard-like conditions this weekend. We’re only getting 6-8″ of snow. That’s a very sarcastic “only” I should not.

I really hate snow and Winter. I was supposed to move this year but my money is not where I need it to be. I could book one of those Branson vacation packages or a trip to somewhere warm until the snow stops. The way this weather has been going that could turn into a very long trip.

I can’t wait for Spring to finally get here.

Today started off on the wrong foot. First my bus left me. I didn’t miss it, the darn thing didn’t stop. He slowed down when he got close to me then he just kept going. I don’t know if he didn’t see me, if he wasn’t paying attention or what. Luckily the next bus is due in 15 minutes. I was only 5 minutes late which isn’t bad.

Then I lost my banana somewhere between my house and work. I stuck it in my bag before I left out of the house along with my soda and a bag of 100 calorie cookies. When I got to work the banana wasn’t in my bag but everything else was. I don’t know if it fell out on the bus or walking down the street. It was the only thing I had for breakfast so that kinda sucked.

Hopefully that’s the end of my bad luck for today. It just has to get better.
