Insane Random Ramblings

It didn’t take as long as I expected it to either. It only took about 1 1/2 hours to write. I was pretty surprised. Then again, I did wait until the last minute so it wasn’t like I had the luxury of taking a long time.

Now I’ll have to revise either this paper that I just did or the last paper that I did. Ill probably choose to revise the last paper. I think this one was much better and will be a little harder to change. The last one left off some major points and I didn’t devote enough time to one aspect of the paper at all.

I still have an additional 8-10 page paper that will be due in this class. I’ve had to do a lot of writing this semester. It’s almost over though.

I’m not though. Now instead of my exam being on 4 weeks worth of information, there will be 6 weeks of information on the exam. Those 2 weeks don’t seem like they should make a difference but they do. Sometimes we have 2 or 3 chapters to read and now we have even more information to study for. The identification questions won’t be a problem but there will even be more concepts to choose the essay questions from.

Let’s face it, I have less time to surf the internet and watch tv. You do know the Oscar’s are coming on this weekend right? They give away the most awesome gift bags. The presenters get Audemars Piguet watches and all kinds of jewelry or electronics. I would go just for the cool swag. I also haven’t been able to check my email in almost a week. I had almost 700 emails to go through. Not to mention the fact that I haven’t been able to visit my favorite websites.

I only have about 10 weeks left until I’m done with school. I need to start counting down cause I can’t wait!

I wanted to go today but I was so tired that I slept most of the day. When I did get up the last thing I wanted to do was go sit in a movie theater. I’ll go tomorrow and see one of the movies that I need to see. I’ll also buy the book for the other movie which I’ll read on Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday I’ll go to the movies and see the other movie and write up the short papers that I need to have for school.

I wish I could buy the movies instead of going to the theater. Oh well, at least I have something to get me out of the house tomorrow.

I know it’s only the 3rd week of school but I’m struggling already. My Lit class is ok so far. It will be a lot of work but nothing that I can’t handle. My Soc class on the other hand is a beast. I read that book for over 2 hours yesterday and I still don’t know what I read. The material is so dense and boring. It looks like I’m going to have to read the material at least twice every week just to make heads or tails of it.

I’m on a countdown to the end of the class already. Only 14 more weeks to go.

One of my professors didn’t give us homework but the other one did. The class that I dread taking the most is a theory class and that’s the class that I have homework for. We have 2 or 3 chapters to read and make a summary of. We also have to not any terms that we are unfamiliar with. Anything from canonism to Loquat trees as symbols. Then we will discuss the terms in class and make a glossary to be turned in at the end of the semester. We don’t get credit or a grade for the information though.

This is going to be one hard class.

I thought I had all of my requirements done for school. But when the student records office looked over my account, they found out that I need an additional writing class. I wanted to drop the class I have and add a new one that means the requirement. However all of the night classes are closed. I wrote to a professor that is teaching one of the classes that fits in my schedule but she hasn’t written me back yet.

It would really suck if I had to wait until the summer to take my final class.

My final paper for the semester was due today. We don’t have a final exam in my class. I chose to use my in class assignments as my final instead of taking a exam. Now I can concentrate of Christmas shopping. I only have a few people to buy for but I want to get some things for myself. A nice pair of Beautifeel shoes or some new work pants would be great. I’ll also hit the store and look for a new turtleneck or sweater for myself. I know the stores will be crowded this weekend so I might wait until next week.

All I know is I don’t have to even think about school for 3 weeks and I’m lovin’ it!

I really have no idea. If you write the 8 page paper (which I am), then you don’t have to take the final. The paper is due no later than this Friday. Which leaves us tonights class and next weeks class. What are we gonna talk about if there is no final and the paper is already assigned and ready to go.

What’s really the point of having these next two classes? I’m only going tonight in case of the rare chance that he talks about the paper or we watch a cool movie. Otherwise I don’t see the point. I doubt very seriously whether I’ll go to next weeks class at all.

I just don’t see the point of it. It seems like a big time waster and I have better things to do. Like write a killer story that I have brewing.

My class is tonight but my professor has given us until Friday to turn the paper in. It’s supposed to be 8 pages on our original textbook, a book we just finished reading and a movie that they watched in class last week. I was sick last week so I missed class and I have never seen the movie. I don’t know whether I’ll rent it or just use a synopsis from the internet.

The bad thing is that I don’t like the premise of the movie or the book we had to read. They do both go hand in hand with the class but I haven’t talked about why I really don’t like it. Once the semester has ended I’ll let it all out. For now I’ll just have to grin and bear it.

In my defense I was sick this entire weekend. My throat was sore and I had a bad cold which has turned into the flu. I took off from work today because I was light-headed and dizzy. I feel a little better now but I should considering I slept until almost 7pm. Yeah I slept that long. I didn’t read any of my books for school and I didn’t go there today either. Now I have to read it because I didn’t go to class and get my chapter summaries.

Man this is turning into a long semester. Luckily for me I only have about 5 more classes.
