Truthfully, I’ll try to get in with 1 or 2 shares. Yes 1 or 2! I’ll use my sharebuilder account and put a limit of $55 per share. If I get it good, but if it goes too high oh well better luck next time. It’s not so much money that it will hurt me if the stock tanks but enough to say I got in on time.

Nothing ventured nothing gained. It’s just too bad that I don’t have more to invest and speculate with.

When I put it on this morning I noticed that the shirt was tight, well snug really. Then I realized that I had purchased a juniors large not a regular large. Of course that means it’s a regular sized medium since juniors clothes are cut small. Hence the smedium look. I never even noticed that the butterflies form the shape of a peace sign until a coworker pointed it out.

At least the shirt looks cute on me. I guess that’s a plus.

Anyway I almost fell this morning. It was a little wet outside but for the most part the bus was dry. But of course, I hit the only slightly wet part of the bus and slid. My sneakers slide on most surfaces, especially the bus and wet concrete. Luckily I was holding on to the overhead hangs so all I did was slide. If I hadn’t been holding on I definitely could have fallen and that would not have been cool early in the morning.

Hopefully tomorrow, and the rest of the week, will be fairly uneventful.

So I had to stay late to make up my time. I guess I am lucky in that regard because a lot of other jobs don’t even offer that option. If you’re late you just get docked in pay. We have overtime right now so instead of getting an hour of overtime, it just helped cover what I had missed. I didn’t have any plans for after work on Friday so it pretty much worked out.

I did rest this weekend so that shouldn’t happen again anytime soon. I hate to say that I’ll be happy to see overtime go because I love getting the extra money but this pushing myself is starting to get old.

Panic set in as I stuck my key in the door and slowly pushed it open. I looked at my carpet and it was as dry as a bone. I heaved a heavy sigh of relief and looked back at the carpet in the hallway. I then thought that maybe one of my neighbors had a flood so I went to look for the maintenance man.

We ran into each other on the stairs and he was carrying a wet-vac. He had cleaned the carpets but the machine malfunctioned causing excess water to leak out onto the carpet. He was coming up to clean up some of the water.

Man I was really afraid and I’m just glad that it wasn’t a flood.

First it really wasn’t a total big deal. I’m just extremely frustrated because I don’t want to be in my department. I need to let things slide and let them go. Another reason is that it seemed almost trivial to take to my manager. She’s more like a supervisor so this is something that she would handle but whatever.

The main reason is because the guy who was involved is not well liked in our area while my boss thinks very highly of me.  If I had gone and complained about that guy, it would have put him further on her bad list and they would treat him worse than they already are. I see how they treat him and it’s pretty bad. I would actually feel pretty bad if I was the cause of it getting worse.

Hopefully I find a new job and I won’t have to worry about all of this anymore.

And let’s not even talk about baseball. I’m usually all over that. Considering you have at least 3 or 4 national games per week, then sometimes the Chicago station will show some of their games, and the Pirates are shown locally. I can easily watch 10 or more games per week if I wanted to.

I don’t know if I’m just tired and stressed or what it is because I’m not even getting into sports the way I usually do. This is extremely unusual for me. Hopefully I come out of whatever funk I seem to be into because there’s a lot of games that I’m missing.
