Jill was discussing the various aspects and possible outcome of the Insurance policy with the man at the Insurance Agency.

During the discussion, she asked, “Suppose I take the life insurance for my husband today and tomorrow he dies? What will I get?”

The agent eyed her suspiciously and replied, “Probably 20 to life.”

I’m tired of hearing bad news about Big Ben

Big Ben is in trouble again. And it’s the same ~~charge~~ accusation, sexual assault. You would think that he would learn from the last time, right? I’m not even going to pass judgement on this case. There are some unknown variables right now. This is not as simple as when he had his motorcycle accident a few years back. He could get a good pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney, pay a fine and be on his way. This is a much more serious allegation and I have a feeling that he’ll be paying through the nose one way or another.

It’s like one step forward, two steps back with this guy. I wish he would put himself in better situations.

I forgot I was off work today

I had the alarm clock set and I got up at my usual time. I had even gone as far as to start getting ready for work when I realized that I had today off. I originally had a doctors appointment today. My doctor only works in the morning but I couldn’t get in to see him before 11am. So instead of taking half the day off I took the whole day off. Then I wound up rescheduling the appointment for a different day.

I don’t have any plans for today now. I could go shopping later on this afternoon and look at game tables. It’s fairly nice today and I want to at least get out and enjoy the weather. I just wish I hadn’t burned a day off. I need all of my days for the summer. That’s when I’m really ready to be off of work.

I’m moving on with my job search

I’ve been looking for a new job for several months. It’s the longest time that I’ve looked for a job in a long time. Usually I find something within 2 or 3 months but I’ve been looking for over 5 months now. I’m ready to move on now. I’ve thought about a Cleveland job search, or Miami or Jacksonville Florida or anywhere that will hire me right now. I have the skills and knowledge so that shouldn’t be a problem. I do realize that we’re in a tough job market and there is rampant unemployment. However the city I live in is fairly stable as far as jobs go.

I just can’t believe I’m having this hard of a time finding a internal position.

A lotta posts and a lotta links

I write a lot of posts and most of them have links in them. The only problem is that they’re all outgoing links. Google looks at too many outgoing links as a spam site so I have to do something to correct that. What I’ve decided to do is start deep-linking within my own blog. If I have 5 posts with links, then I’ll have 1 post with a deep link back to my own site.

I may link to a post talking about the Yankees, Phillies, my neighbors or anything else that I can think of. I may even link back to a old post about mailing a bill late since that seems to be the post I get the most hits on. I have no idea why the bots pick that post but they do.

Anything to keep my site in the search engines and stop it from being considered spam.

A beautiful young blonde woman boards a plane to LA with a ticket for the coach section. She looks at the seats in coach and then looks ahead to the first class seats. Seeing that the first class seats appear to be much larger and more comfortable, she moves forward to the last empty one. The flight attendant checks her ticket and tells the woman that her seat is in coach.

The blonde replies, “I’m young, blonde and beautiful, and I’m going to sit here all the way to LA.”

Flustered, the flight attendant goes to the cockpit and informs the captain of the blonde problem. The captain goes back and tells the woman that her assigned seat is in coach.

Again, the blonde replies, “I’m young, blonde and beautiful, and I’m going to sit here all the way to LA.”

The captain doesn’t want to cause a commotion, and so returns to the cockpit to discuss the blonde with the co-pilot.

The co-pilot says that he has a blonde girlfriend, and that he can take care of the problem. He then goes back and briefly whispers something into the blonde’s ear. She immediately gets up, says, “Thank you so much,” hugs the co-pilot, and rushes back to her seat in the coach section. The pilot and flight attendant, who were watching with rapt attention, together ask the co-pilot what he had said to the woman.

He replies, “I just told her that the first class section isn’t going to LA.”
